When you try and imagine the perfect Welsh view there are a few boxes you need to tick. Rolling fields, the open sea, beaches and some incredible mountains. As luck would have it, a stay at this dramatic country house gives you all of these.
Plas is an imposing country house, looking out across Rhoscolyn from its hill-top position. A house for family holidays, reunions, special occasions and even weddings (Plas has a licence for civil weddings).
A huge sitting room, with brilliant views, great log burning stove and dining area at the end to bring the whole room together. There is a great TV room for kicking back if you want to just watch a good old film or play on the X-Box. There is a second sitting room, this is less TV and more slip off to read your favourite book and while away the hours.
A great kitchen which has plenty of space for friends and family to all muck in. Rangemaster cooker, two ovens, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and all the utensils. Plenty of storage in the cupboards and also a pantry. You may even want to hire your own private chef for an evening – make it a real celebration (and no washing up to be done!).
Five bedrooms sleeping 10 in total. One double downstairs with en suite. Then a further four bedrooms upstairs and, you guessed it, they all have spectacular views. Two can be made up as twin or king size and the others are twins.
Two bathrooms, both with free standing roll top baths, loo and basin. One bathroom has a shower. Also a separate loo and basin.
Huge lawns outside, perfect for relaxing and just taking it all in. Plenty of parking for all the cars.
If Plas isn’t quite big enough for your needs, Cabbage Patch and Plas Bach are just steps away and both sleep an additional two guests each. Just up the lane is Plas Uchaf, which sleeps a further six. So in all, the Plas properties can accommodate a total 20 guests.View cottage
